A Complete Simulation Of Intra Vehicle Link Through Best Possible Wireless Network
Abstract—Vehicular safety is the prime objective of the Intelligent Transportation Systems. There is a need for “always connected” communication to ensure vehicular safety. This work presents a complete simulation of Intra Vehicle Link. Also the measured data, i.e, velocity of the vehicle, location and distance from other vehicles, from different sources, are fused using kalman filter and a vertical handover algorithm is developed using analytic hierarchy process for the choice of best possible wireless network from the available wireless networks. The fused data are communicated to target vehicle using the best possible wireless network among the available networks.
